On the afternoon of May 15, 2023, China's preprint platform in the field of nuclear physics (hereinafter referred to as the platform) was officially released at the 18th National Nuclear Physics Conference. The platform is established by Chinese Nuclear Physics Society,the Institute of Modern Physics (IMP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics (SINAP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, Department of Technical Physics, Peking University, Institute of Modern Physics, Fudan University, China Institute of Atomic Energy and ChinaXiv, supporting the preprint communication in the area of Nuclear Physics. At the press conference, Zhang Zhixiong introduced the basic situation of platform construction to the attendees. Guo Bing, Secretary General of the Nuclear Physics Society and Director of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the China Institute of Atomic Energy, read the Platform Management Committee, the Scientific Advisory Committee, the list of the first batch of cooperative journals and volunteer application channels. The Scientific Advisory Committee invites Ma Yugang to serve as its Director. Platform cooperation journals include "Chinese Physics C", "Chinese Physics Letters", "Nuclear Science and Technologies", "Journal of Physics", "Nuclear Technology", "Nuclear Physics Review", "Atomic Energy Science and Technology", and "Strong Laser and Particle Beam". Xu Hushan, president of the Society of Nuclear Physics and director of the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chen Dongfeng, vice president of the China Institute of Atomic Energy, Cai Xiangzhou, vice director of the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hua Hui, director of the Department of Technical Physics of Peking University, and Wei Baoren, vice director of the Institute of Modern Physics of Fudan University, delivered speeches respectively. Xu Hushan mentioned in her speech that the launch of ChinaXiv Nuclear Physics has added a high-quality and authoritative academic exchange platform to the academic community, which is conducive to accelerating the dissemination and exchange of nuclear physics research results, strengthening the connection and cooperation between domestic and foreign nuclear physics scholars, and enhancing the discourse power and influence of China's nuclear physics discipline in the international arena. He encourages research institutions, scholars, and journals to actively participate in the nuclear physics preprint exchange system, and jointly promote the development of nuclear physics research in China to a higher level. Xiao Guoqing, a researcher of the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, presided over the conference. ChinaXiv Nuclear Physics (website: http://nucl-ph.chinaxiv.org/ ）Based on the mature model of the Chinese Academy of Sciences scientific and technological paper pre release platform (ChinaXiv), it is a national level preprint exchange infrastructure led by the nuclear physics community in China. The platform provides public welfare support for institutions, societies, conferences, journals, and researchers in the field of nuclear physics to carry out open academic exchange activities, committed to achieving efficient communication based on preprint papers and promoting more open dissemination and application of scientific research results.
