In order to further promote the construction of the public welfare academic resource platform of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the "14th Five-Year Plan" planning tasks of National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the National Science Library), and the cooperation with scientific and technological journals inside and outside the academy, on April 12, 2023, National Science Library will open to the research institutes and university journals organized and held PubScholar&ChinaXiv journal cooperation and co-construction briefings in NanJing. The meeting was held at the Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and invited guests from Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Purple Mountain Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Nanjing Forestry University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics , Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Nanjing Agricultural University, State Grid Electric Power Research Institute and other units, as well as Mao Shanfeng, vice chairman of the China University Science and Technology Journal Research Association, and member of the Management Committee of ChinaXiv China Nursing Preprint Platform Ye Zhenhua attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Li Wanchun, director of the editorial department of "Lake Science", Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. At the meeting, Zhang Zhixiong, deputy director of National Science Library, first introduced the overall deployment of our institute in the construction of non-profit academic resource platforms and preprint platforms, analyzed the development trend of international academic exchanges, and hoped that the participating journals will actively support and participate in the above work , to jointly promote effective channels and efficient exchange of academic resources. Afterwards, the project team reported the construction progress of PubScholar and ChinaXiv platforms and the cooperation and co-construction mode with journals. The participating experts conducted in-depth discussions on the benefits of cooperation and co-construction to journals, the cooperation methods of supporting public welfare platforms and preprint platforms, and the recognition of social contribution of journals participating in public welfare services, and put forward many good suggestions. The project team stated that after the meeting, it will further optimize and improve the platform construction based on the discussion opinions, and follow up and implement relevant cooperation.
